The series Equilibrated Evolution is inspired by the work and life of the artist Piet Mondriaan.
Lustre and Lux emerge from research on his early paintings of trees and forests. Mondriaan's 'Wall Works' are the starting point for Drawing Pins and Hexagon. Bandy Legs and Foxtrot draw on my fascination with the unfinished painting 'Victory Boogie Woogie'.
